I called today and talked to four different people at Frigidaire. I opened up my unit for a different reason and when I opened it I found a BLACK mold in the unit, It is about a year old I am very upset to see this black black mold. Is there anything I can do for it. I tried to clean it , I couldn't get all the places.Also the reason I opened it was to try to get the beep out of the system anytime I changed anything it would beep and wake up my wife. I could not open the left upper metal box that had a warning on it about voltage I wanted to get to the speaker that makes the beep to shut it off. I could not open up the metal box to go to the speaker.

This AC saved me in my trailer that I live in. Was able to fit it in a window easily. And easy to insulate. It also is cost effective.The only issue was that several groups of fins were bent in upon delivery. I had to buy a to a special tool to help straighten them. Only one section was not able to be straightened. It still works though.Thank you.

Installed in my 280 sq. ft. uninsulated outbuilding. Added double bubble reflective insulation to the interior walls and roof rafters. When outside temperture is 90 or higher with high humidity it is a very comfortable 75 degrees with low humidity inside. Wish i had done this 10 years ago. My workshop/woodshop is now as comfortable as my home.

Wirecutter has this air conditioner on their list of 2022 best air conditioners and I'm glad I decided to try it out. All we really has to do for setup was attach the wings and the top rail, pop it in the window and we were good to go. I'm loving the remote too!

I mainly bought this model of high effency unit do to the fact it has a high ceer of 12.0.At 8000 BTU, or the same as 2/3 ton of cooling AC .Very capable unit , will easily cool an area of 350 square foot as its promoted to do. My other main factor is it only draws 6.43 amps of power on economic mode , which is of the greatest importance because I am using it powered by Solar panels as a back up system in case of power failure do to a storm or a power grid shutdown.I am so far very pleased with this Frigidaire unit.

Purchased from Sam's Club. Installed in our bedroom. The first night the unit froze over. I let that go, maybe it was just a fluke or me having it turned down too low as to why that happened. It would cool the room but the humidity would go as high as 67. It didn't make any sense. So I moved a dehumidifier into the room with the AC and that helped. I ended up returning the unit, the AC should have been taking out the humidity as it cooled the room. Bought a GE.

For the price and the cooling with my asthma this was helpful. I could do without the noise. It was so loud if I am on the phone someone on the other end is asking if I am at an airport with a plane landing or something. I came on the site looking for how to take the batteries out on the remote because I think they need replacement. It is challenging to get them out for me.

We also have a similar Frigidaire model with 10K BTU™™s and it is great, but this one is extremely loud. When it idles on low it makes the usual sound that one would expect, but whenever it kicks in there™™s a terrible sound that we can™™t seem to get rid of. Not sure if it™™s a defect or the normal sound of this machine. Either way it™™s very annoying.
