Freezer works great and the size is perfect. The only draw back is opening the door. It has great vacuum which in turn makes the door hard to open. You have to use 2 hands to open. One to hold freezer and one to open the door. Other than that it's great.

It's a good freezer that fits my needs. The only problem is opening the door on the side handle. It easier to open from the top. For someone that is short they have a hard time to open the door.

When the freezer came the guys were great at offloading it and also removed the packaging, even made sure it started up. We have had it running for over a month, it is doing great. This is a great freezer it is very quiet. Also, it stays frozen even when not powered for five days.

This is a large upright freezer you will be able to load up with all your goodies. Nice and cold and lets you know it's sealed if you listen for the vacuum noise when closing the door. Only things I suggest to make it above average: 4 side door shelves being sold with the unit versus 3; a second pull-out bin versus just one; the Big issue is no lips on all the shelves to hold frozen goods from sliding out if you have lots of items inside. My last freezer had the lips and I really miss this on the new unit.

Home Depot delivered and set up the freezer. I put groceries inside it and within 3 days there was frost building up on the lower right side of the door and onto the shelf above the basket. It keeps cold. Runs Quietly...but where is the frost coming from

I love the price, I had been looking for an upright freezer for the last two years. Due to Covid and transportation issues most vendors did not carry the item I needed. I was often told that items advertised were not even being ordered. When I found your freezer on special I jumped on and today it was delivered and it lived up to my expectations. I had been using an outdated non-frost free unit for years and I was tired of having to clean it three to four times a year. I am getting up in years and this will be a blessing.

We needed a large frost-free freezer that was basic & easy to store our products where we could get to items easily. The freezer is great except that when you go to open the door, the whole freezer pulls forward. I have to unseal it with my finger to open the door.

While the freezer works well, my main problem with the unit is the vacuum seal or feet. I have to wedge my foot against the front of the unit because if I do not, when I pull on the door, the entire unit pulls across the floor

So far this freezer is a GEm. Having to replace my freezer that stopped working I was guided to this GEm. Now that I see how cold and how frozen my foodstuffs are with the GE, I realize my older freezer was not freezing well for awhile

Seems to be well made. Very quite. I have just one issue with this freezer, it is hard to use because the door seal is so tight my wife can't open the door. The help suggestion for a fix was to scrub the seal around the door with water and baking soda. This "solution" did make it a bit easier, my wife was able to open the door by using two hands and really leaning into the pull. Not ideal. I brushed some of the residual powder from the seal and once again the door was impossible to open. You end up dragging the freezer across the room trying to pull the door open if you're not careful. We were also told the difference in the warm air and the cold air can cause the issue. I should move the freezer to a cooler room. Really, if that's the case then this freezer is not "garage ready". It was extremely hard to open when it was first set up before it ever cooled down. This was insulting, I've had freezers before and they were not almost impossible to open. I don't blame the help agent, I'm sure she was just reading from a script. At this point I've had to resort to using a wide putty knife to break the seal to open the door. The door seal was made to work too well. I certainly won't have a air leak issue.

I have the basic model, no lock, no door adjustment, no door display, no alarm, wire racks,no partial bottom shelf. If you want all the bells and whistles do your comaprison research first! I thought this model had all those features. The delivery includes leveling and plugging it in. Read the manual and clean the inside before adding your food.
Prior to buying the 21.3 GE, we had a 20 year old 17.3 that still runs great. Bigger, garage ready and more energy efficient is why we upgraded. I also ordered a refridgerator/freezer brown out surge protector plug to add another layer of protection to our new GE freezer.

Bigger than I expected (good thing)! Self locking system on the door to get temperature back down after being open will take a while to get used to (you cannot just open close then immediately reopen the door). Overall, very happy with the purchase.
