The refrigerator is black and has a nice finish. I love the bottom freezer with ice maker. There is plenty of room for condiments, bottles, milk cartons. The refrigerator is extremely quiet.

Too us forever to find what we were looking for. once we located a supplier that carried this model and had it in stock it only took 7 days to get it. I installed it myself and the supplied instructions were very clear and precise.

We were ready for an upgrade from our 27 year old fridge and we were limited in our width options for our new fridge. Thankfully we found this beauty that fits perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I really wanted a water dispenser but unfortunately our width restrictions didn't allow a fridge that style so I'm overall very pleased with this option instead!

Fridge in general is good. But whilst it's running it makes a terrible high-pitched noise that pulses. Was told by a GE repairman that it's inevitable and unfixable.

On my current GE refrigerator, similar to this one, the right hand bin has a little latch which will allow the drawer to be moved to the left for removal without unloading everything in the door. (The hinges are on the right). You take the left side drawer (facing the unit) out of the refrigerator and press the latch in the center, and the right side drawer moves enough to the left so it can clear the door. GE thoughtfully did this in case your unit is close to a wall or other obstruction, and the door cannot go all the way to the right.
Does this model have this feature? I see it mentioned nowhere in the manual.

Our Whirlpool broke after only 5 years. Our repairman said that GE is more durable, so we bought one. In terms of features and price, it is very similar to the Whirlpool we bought five years ago. However, it just isn't as good a build. Everything feels cheap and rickety. When you close the freezer door, it has trouble rolling in the shelves. The freezer shelves in particular feel flimsy...they don't move well, and feel like they are going to break any minute. The ice-maker works quickly, but the cubes come out all stuck together. The shelves are not nearly as configurable as the Whirlpool, and again, they just feel more rickety. The only thing I like better than the whirlpool; the door has tons of space, with deep, yet accessible shelving.

This fridge has plenty of space for large families. We have 5 boys and obviously have a ton of food to store but there is always enough room. The ice maker is also quite good and we never run out of ice.

I particularly like the fact that I was able to purchase a freezer below, black appliance. Stainless steel, double door would not have worked in my kitchen.

A lot of space to store things and be able to see them - no hidden corners for leftovers to hide. The shelves in the door are also quite large for condiments and beverages.

It seems to work well I like the display and setting of temperatures, the alarm for opened door, the shape and quantity of ice cubes.
I do not like the noise generates by the sliding drawer in the freezer.

I'm upgrading to a larger frig. I spent a lot of time looking at several models and makes at Lowes. Very happy I choose this one. Customer service is wonderful and prompt, when I called with a question. The spacing and design inside is perfect. The door shelving is ample and takes full containers of fluids. Love the interior design in the bottom freezer, which has dividers and 2 levels of storage. Delivered today, happy so far!!

Our refrigerator was delivered today. My husband noticed immediatley a flaw in the door. A dent at the top middle. The gentelmen who delivered it went out to their truck and talked with their supervisor. Returned with a an offer of 75.00 off the price . We took it. currently we have a photo magnet over it!!

I just got this product yesterday and it is working fine so far. It is very hard to find one that fits the space. This one does not fit great, but it is etter than my previous 26 year old refrig. it replaced.

We've had this Refrigerator for about a month now. And I think it's great. It has more room than our previous Refrigerator and we are happy with the freezer on the bottom. It's a little clunky closing the freezer but so far, so good.
