It took 4 hours for my son to install the dishwasher. Mainly because he had to go to home Depot and purchase a needed part that did not come with the machine for installation. Next it's plastic which I was not told when I ordered it through AHS. I'm 80 years old and I think I could pick it up. Has no insulation around it. It makes way more noise than my old dishwasher which was 16 years old. The bottom rack rolls off the door unless you handle it so gently you think it was a newborn baby. It started to smell every time I opened the door after the first load of dishes were washed. It was perfectly clean inside but there was an odor. Hopefully that will disappear with use.
Very disappointed that this is what general electric has come to. I pay and pay that warranty company and this is the product they send me. But you manufactured it and you are making a lousy product. But then things aren't like what they used to be nothing is anymore.

I love my new GE dishwasher. I've always used GE appliances and this one doesn't fail. It's so nice and quiet during the entire wash cycle. The dishes come out sparkling clean. Couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you

Had it 2 months and we are on our 2nd service call. Door doesn't stay closed during cycle. It will pop open or slowly start leaking. Worst dishwasher EVER!!

HI,
I upgraded my 19 year old dishwasher. I like how this pefforms fso far.
It is not as loud as my old dishwasher.
We are trying to get used to the drying features.
We are doing the dry boost mode and are hopeful the dishes will dry better. On the other modes the dishwasher is still wet even over night.

Just had this installed today. Took them about 1.5 hours. So far, so good. Ran one small load to make sure all was working and there were no leaks. Pretty quiet and looks like it did a good job.

Replaced our old dishwasher with this one through a home warranty. So we really sure what we were going to end up with. So far it works great! We've only had it a week, so we are still learning the cycles, but everything has so far come out clean. It is super quiet, and so we run it at night. One feature I really like is that the soap dispenser lid slides up rather than flips up. The ones that flip will sometimes catch taller dishes and wont open all the way which then wont allow it to dispense the soap. The slide lid eliminates the risk of this happening.

I wanted just a basic dishwasher fir a good price and this one seems to fit the bill. Some of the components seem a little lightweight (door and trays), but that could be just newer lighter weight materials used in the design. Time will tell how well they hold up

This dishwasher only cleans well if you use every function available and make sure they are on the highest setting. The design is poor as well as you are unable to put long utensils or knives in the storage tray present to hold them upright as the top rack's wand will run into them. You have to lay longer utensils or knives flat on the 1st or 2nd shelf to get them cleaned in this dishwasher. If I could return it I would but we unfortunately were given the dishwasher as our option through our home warranty.

I did not realize it had a plastic interior. Makes dishwasher seem cheap. That said, it cleans well on heavy duty cycle using cascade, as recommended. First time I used it I ran it on normal cycle and used store brand dishwasher detergent. I was horrified at the results. But with heavy duty cycle, cascade and boosted temp everything is squeaky clean.

Honestly have not had the product long enough to rate performance accurately. But so far, I find it to be of average quality, noisier than expected and approximately 80% plastic. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of plastic tubs versus stainless but you do forfeit some pros such as noise level and door strength. The plus sides are pricing, never rust and same features as high end dishwashers. I do wish this had a pre rinse cycle for the times you don't have enough to justify a long washing cycle. All said , I expect to get between 6 and 8 years of service from this unit. Mainly because I'm the only one using it. My Wife still likes doing dishes by hand !!!!!

I'm not sure about the interior as it seems to be plastic and I was unaware of this when we bought it. But it has been cleaning our dishes just fine and we are pleased with the price.

This dishwasher looks & cleans great. It is also very quiet. The top rack quickly adjusts with 3 different heights, you can put large plates on the upper level. I am so glad I chose this dishwasher. American made is also important

Off to a good start. Just over 1 month in on this new dishwasher. We replaced a 15 yr old Whirlpool that was not doing its job anymore. This model does a fantastic job of cleaning your dishes. It is quiet but not silent. Love the utensil basket and the bottom plate layout/design. Top cleaning shelf we are still figuring out as some of our small glasses don't seem to stay in place, but otherwise no complaints on this dishwasher. Sure hope it will last us 10 years!

It seems like a much cheaper product than the cost. The brackets to attach it to the cabinet/countertop are very flimsy. It does seem to clean well but does not dry dishes well, especially anything plastic. I've tried different settings but remain disappointed.

Gets dishes very clean and is easy to operate. It is also pretty quiet. The drying features work very well. It is worth getting the full PDF manual online, since it does not come with the full manual.

I can't give a good review of the product because the dishwasher that I received worked for one cycle of dishes. A technician came to fix it but needs a part that won't be in for another month, maybe. I am supposed to receive another new dishwasher this week, we will see how that goes
