Excellent control panel layout

I headlined my review noting the feature of the appliance that I find most appealing. However, I have another GE dishwasher at my primary residence. I installed this new item in my vacation home. The trays in my first dishwasher seem to roll out more smoothly and quietly. Nevertheless, this new dishwasher does a fine job of washing my dishes and operates quieter than I had expected. At $600, the best I can say about the pricing is that it was acceptable if not attractive.

The wash came in and we picked it up from our local store after unboxing it was very easy to hard wire the plug in and attach hoses if you have a 3/8" hose to your water line and your old washer is not set up the same then you will need an adapter for the water supply. It Al comes with more insulation for the front Whitehall helps with noise and keep it clean underneath compared to the older models that just had the cover and no insulation. If your looking for a great washer with out a kitchen aid budget on one this is your best product for the money you spend.

Quiet and Cleans Well BUT Loading Is Not Easy

I've had my new dishwasher for several weeks now and have run it about 4 times. It's very quiet and cleans well. What I distinctly don't like is that the vertical tines/bars to designate loading aren't very user friendly. The arrangement on both top and bottom racks is inefficient in that it does not allow for easy loading and distribution of bowls and cups. Esp on the bottom racks, medium size bowls do not stay upright. Plates are sort of easy to load, but I wish the vertical tines were closer and that there was some sort of an indent in the base or a curve in the tine to hold the dishes in place better. If I were going to purchase a new dishwasher, I'd look for something with these features in the interior setup. Also, I'm noticing that the water isn't draining properly and the residue water is smelly. Going to have to call the company to remedy this. Not acceptable!

So far this dishwasher is working and cleaning well.
On the negative side is almost everything else about the appliance;
The racks have a lot of slop and move all over the place.
The entire inside looks and feels cheap.
All the movement of the door feels flimsy and cheap.
The legs did not make the appliance tall enough so we have substantial gaps all the way around.
Again, it cleans well. It is serviceable. But for the price I expect a lot more.

It didnt come with an insulation blanket and is noisey. The insulation blanket i purchased is so thin you can see thru it. Doesnt help.

I love how much room on the inside there is, and the features. I live in an older condo that can have water issues, and finding one that would fit size wise and includes heat boost is a dream come true.

Overall it works well. It is a bit boxy, the handle is very square and I'd prefer a more slim style of handle where it doesn't provide as much from the machine. Other than that I like it!

It is wonderfully designed with excellent spacing and it holds and washes the glasses without destroying them. It washes the dishes clean with the design of the washing mechanisms top ad bottom. Love it.

installed $250 because Home Depot wouldnt install unless water line shut off behind the dishwasher. The door is cheap. Didnt close has a tiny latch. kept blinking. overall it does a 45 minute wash cycle. I just don't know when i will have trouble with closing that door again.

Good functional dishwasher. Not too flashy and it has all the settings I need for my family. The washer is quiet most of the time. Initially it was a little loud at times but overall quieter than the one that broke down. I do not notice the noises that I first noticed upon the first few washes.
