With a wide opened floor plan, I needed a dishwasher that would run relatively quietly. This one does the job. I also think this particular model is a great value for the quality of the product. While i think it has a relatively modern design, i only wish it had a more slender handle, but that is strictly aesthetic. The product itself has great features, simple and easy to use, and works really well. It checks all the boxes for me!

Brand new, leaking on first run

Our dishwasher has been a lemon since we got it. It immediately started leaking from the bottom of the door. The door doesn't lay flat when open and there is no solution in the install directions. Then the lower rack roller carrier breaks the next day, just one day after install! I tried to schedule a warranty service repair appointment and I still have not received a confirmation number or email two days later. Extremely frustrated that a brand new dishwasher has three major issues (and a minor cosmetic issue on the button panel) right out of the box and no one has schedule my repair appointment. Nor when I call, no one answers and it hangs up on me. Please contact me GE and make this right.

The dishwasher does a great job. I like the silverware holder. It gets all the silverware clean without any residue. It is easy and straightforward to operate.
The only thing I don't like is the weight of the door. It seems very light.

I bought this for a rental unit because for its price, the look and the performance were better than I anticipated. Its is sleek and looks like brands that cost in the thousands. I always buy midline models and this didn't disappoint. I liked that it is assembled in the USA which keeps our economy strong and our people employed.

So far, we are 1 month In and we love the dishwasher. It has the steam clean and other features that I like. There's only 2 down falls, the racks are super light weight, I'm always slamimg it and when it runs, it runs long( like 2-3 hrs). We have 5 kids so I use it very often and those are the only down falls. Very reasonable price, we actually got it on sale for $538, our first GE appliance, it's quiet too. I enjoy that, alot.

We have been enjoying this dishwasher and it blows our old one out of the water. I love the top small utensils rack on the top. The bottom rack makes sense but makes it limited on how to load the dishwasher, we use a lot of bowls and it seems like the back of the bottom rack is set up to hold plates only and leaves lots of open space if used for something other than plates.

I love my new GE dishwasher. It is so much quieter than my old one and I love that. I also like the deeper tub in it. I do a lot of canning and use very large pots for preparing the foods for canning. Now they fit in my dishwasher so I'm not stuck washing them all by hand anymore.

We tested the dishwasher in the garage before installation. Very glad we did as we learned that the bottom left corner of the door had a leak. It appeared to be a crimped seal. We replaced the seal on the bottom of the door (pretty flimsy) and all appears to be well. If you can test your appliances BEFORE installation it is always a very smart move. Other than that, unit appears to work well and a good value for the money.

The wash cycles seem to be longer than other brands. Dishes are not fully dry when choosing the 2 hour cycle. In order to get the dishes fully dry, you must select the 3.5 hour cycle option.

We love the new dishwasher. Bought it to match our new range (which was needed). It does a great job of cleaning even dishes the husband doesn't bother to even rinse first. And it's so quiet compared to the old one. Maybe we didn't need to replace old just to match, but, glad we did.

We are pleased with this dishwasher. Particularly the fact that the tines on the upper and lower racks are spaced and angled at positions that work well with our dinnerware and glassware. The silverware basket also has a nice variety of openings to allow for handles of various sizes. Most importantly, our dishes come out clean and dry.

The dishwasher is good overall, does what it's supposed to do-clean dishes. When loading if I have plates in the bottom rack and glasses/bowls normal loading, as it gets fuller, the whole unit tips forward lifting the back leveling legs and sliding the front legs back, and dipping the door towards the floor, yes the top brackets are screwed to the underside of the counter. The brackets are weak and flimsy so they just flex when the dishwasher moves

Looks nice for the price. A bit noisy - could be because there is no external rubber-like wrap on the exterior like more expensive dishwashers and the insulation provided is super thin. I recommend using thicker insulation.

I like the new dishwasher, but I wish there were a couple of different things... more racks on the side to place items on or to place wine glasses. I also feel the space is a little wide on the rack. My mom likes to re-use her spoon and fork so she will hand wash and place in top rack, but they constantly fall.. That is where if rack was a little more covered on bottom, would not happen and/or more cup racks

This is a good dishwasher. I would have given it 5 stars, but it doesn't thoroughly dry the items and holds on to a lot of humid condensation for hours at the end of the cycle.

I installed this dishwasher about 2 months ago, and have so far been happy. Replaced a unit from 2003 that was falling apart. My initial reason for choosing this particular model: it seemed to be the best unit available in the store that day within my price range.
It's not the quietest I've ever heard, but compared to the freight train that used to be under my kitchen counter, it's a major step forward. The sounds it makes are more just "wish wash" water movement and electronic motor cycling, far more pleasant than the motor humming/vibrating/rattling from the older and cheaper ones. Control panel and wash cycles have several options, all of which are easy to operate. Cycle time is longer than I am accustomed to (2-4 hours for regular/heavy, 1 hour for "quick wash"), so don't expect to run multiple cylces in rapid succession. Regardless, it gets the dishes clean, and the drying cycle actually dries the dishes like it's supposed to (this is new for me!). Spacious enough for large fry pans and medium-sized baking sheets leaning on an angle. Utensil holder is excellent, with individual drop-in holes to keep them separated for better cleaning.
Due to the door's hinge design, I was unable to use the original wooden cabinet toe kick that was in front of the old unit. It sits too far forward, and the bottom of the door was catching on it. I have since ordered the screw-on toe kick that fits the unit.
Overall, a worthwhile investment, no functional issues so far, it looks good, and it was priced fairly. Only thing that I can see being a turn-off is that quieter units do exist. So if you expect something that is so quiet you don't even know it's there...pick something else. But if a little background noise in the kitchen is acceptable, it's a fine choice.
