I really like the ice maker in the door and not taking up space in the fridge. I would like a little more flexibility in the shelves, such as which goes where, and a little more adjustment in the shelves on the opposite door, but those are minor issues.

Very spacious throughout and works well. But the door with the water/ice has three minuscule shelves that are difficult to find an adequate use for.

The freezer door comes flying off every about other time I open the freezer drawer. I have completely fallen over opening it and I'm a healthy fit individual. Our fridge cannot be moved, luckily or it would have fallen on me. There was a recall from this I cannot believe this model wasn't included. GE came with our home.

Really like the lower freezer with the two shelves that are easy to use. Having a little trouble getting used to double doors for refridgerator since never had but like it.

GE makes great appliances we just got a poor design on the ice maker. My wife wanted the black slate color. So we gave it a shoot. Not very happy with it. Wish I could Exchange it for a better one.

I really like the looks and the spacious interior, but this fridge is very noisy, like a constant scraping sound. Called about it w/in 30 days, and a tech came out, and said that is just the "freon moving through the system" I have had MANY different refrigerators in my life, and have never had a brand new one being this noisy. I can hear it as soon as I walk in my front door, and that door is not in the kitchen.......

The color was one of the first features that sold us on this item however the layout and adjustable shelves was high on the list as well. This is the first french door and bottom freezer we have owned but its truly a great layout and easy access to everything! The only issue we have is how long it takes to make ice and how slow the water dispensor is.

I love how the fridge looks in our new modern kitchen . It also helps me keep all my food organized because of the space and ability to move shelves. The only issue I've had is with the crushed ice going everywhere unless I use a large jar/cup. I'm not sure if that is normal for that feature though because I've never had a fridge with ice from the door.

I love my new French door refrigerator! Due to the pandemic and supply chain issues, it took a long time to get my French door refrigerator in black slate, but it is well worth the wait! It is spacious, user-friendly, beautiful, and has all the storage needs I could want or need!

Quite nice really. I really like the matte black or Black Slate color. The ice maker inside the door seems like a good idea. Love the long drawer that goes completely from one side to the other. The adjustable half shelf is one of the selling points for me. That being said there is only 2 places to store a gallon of milk…in the door or if the half shelf is pushed back. I do wish there were just a few more choices of shelf or storage placements.

This new GE 'fridge is terrific! We replace a unit from 2009, so the features of this new one are much appreciated. It's got lots of room....the drawers for fruits and veggies plus the center drawer, are very spacious. The freezer section as well. We particularly enjoy the water/ice dispenser in the door.

We had a different model before and this was as close as we could come to it without buying and LG. Love the see thru crispers and we are adjusting to using the water and ice in the door. My wife says you have to hit it just perfectly for it to work.

Have only had our new refrigerator for a few days, but not only is it so very quiet, even when making ice, but it's also very spacious. More room than I was anticipating. I absolutely love the shelf that pushes back for taller items. Great feature. Our stove is GE and now our new refrigerator. Very pleased with both!

We are so happy we own a GE refrigerator again. Very roomy, lots of space and lots of room in freezer - perfect for 2 people. Keeps food very cold. Only change: the icemaker spews out ice in all directions because the opening seems large so need to use a pitcher and not a small container to dispense ice.

Efficient, looks great, and easy to clean. Organizing contents on took a little getting used to. Produce drawers aren't too deep, and there is one shelf on the door for tall items like milk cartons and lg. drink bottles, but half of the top shelf on one side slides back to make more room for large/tall items (e.g., turkey wine bottles) on shelf below. When closed, the top drawer in freezer slides over the bottom one. It is a little noisy when running.

The fridge is overall good, but there isn't much door space for condiments if you are someone who has that need. We've had a tough time the last 4 months trying to figure out how to best use the space and still haven't found a great way to use it. There is plenty of space for Tupperware and short items, but any tall items like milk, juice, or other bottles we've had to lay down and slide in.
Also, be aware that the filters are specialty filters that have a chip in them so you have to buy them from GE. However, you can get them on reoccurring shipments which saves you some.

We had a LG that had much nicer features and better quality but the compressor went out after only 3 years. This was the closest refrigerator we could find to match the rest of our Matt black color. It runs much louder, doesn't have the door in door like our LG had, which I loved! The drawers fit have rollers, just plastic on plastic to slide in and out. Less door space shelves and just seems to be over all a down grade, but my hope is it will run longer than 3 years.

After having a 15 year old GE side-by-side, I was amazed to see how bright it was inside with the LED lights. It is so easy to see the contents of my refrigerator at a glance. With the freezer at the bottom, it appears I have more room as my old refrigerator was also 25.6 cubic feet. My husband who used to look and look for an item, can find it in a nanosecond!!!!! That is progress!!!!!!!
