I like the refrigerator very much except the XWFE water filter system. It is way over priced for what it does and is another potential fail point. I feel like my drinking water is being held for ransom of $110-$120 per year. I will only recommend it to a friend if they are willing to use the filter bypass and install inline filter or do the hack that is online showing how to work around using XWFE filter. Look it up online and you will see what others have had to do. My last GE refrigerator used filters that I got 3 for about $30 with the same or higher filter specifications.

We bought this after our ice maker kept failing in the French Door fridge we had for a short time before. This has been extremely reliable and , though it is a little smaller than I like, it is a great purchase, easy to use and no problems after several years of use.

Beautiful refrigerator! Just installed today so anxious to see how it performs. I read many reviews before deciding on this GE. It did take some cabinet refiguring which we knew would be necessary, but seems worth it. Hard to rate fairly since installed today.

I just purchased this GE side by side about 5 weeks ago when my older side by side died, of course, while we were away on vacation! So far I love it. One of the features that sold me was the multiple levels available in the fridge side for the shelves. Most others I looked at had fixed shelves or only a couple of options. This model also has lots of room in both the freezer and fridge.

This refrigerator is so well thought out. The shelving and storage are more than adequate. We can organize our food and can see everything very well. Love the lighting too. So much more space than our old frig. The icemaker is so quiet and in fact, the whole refrigerator is very quiet! Love it!

Unlike the Frigidaire $3000 I purchased from Electronics Express, this refrigerator actually made ice within a couple of hours and is freezing ice cream. Warranty on Frigidaire with Electronics Express was useless and ended up having to purchase another after only have the Frigidaire two years.

I love the space it provides compared to my old fridge. The shelves are sturdy and are easy to move around. it's quiet. Comes with water filter for your water dispenser. This side by side refrigerator/freezer not only looks elegant in my kitchen, I purchased it at a very affordable price. In addition to those to features, I'm delighted with the fingerprint resistant finish that will help it maintain that elegant look for years to come. After loosing my previous refrigerator with the ice dispenser (crushed & cubed and water dispensed on the door, I am thrilled to have that back again with this unit. In addition to what I had, I now also have digital controls outside on the door as well to control the temperature inside the fridge & freezer also. I spent a considerable amount of time looking for a new unit. This unit filled the bill for everything I wanted without breaking the bank. Besides the features outside, I can now put that bulky gallon milk jug in a door pocket making for easy access and more space for other food & drink items. So after viewing more fridge/freezer combo's than I care to think about, I feel I purchased the best bang for my buck that I could, with confidence that I now own a quality GE product.

Has great lighting throughout both the freezer and refrigerator top to bottom and great storage area designs. Ice maker and water dispensers work great. Ice maker is faster than it says it is. And there is an easy place to monitor and change the temperature with exterior controls.

GE side by side 25.3 Energy Star Fridge with water/ice dispenser is just what I was searching for at the right time. Great price for everything we have been looking for in the past few months. Plenty of adjustable drawers and nice lighting inside the fridge. The freezer is nice as well with plenty of drawers and shelves in doors for storage. This fridge was a replacement for another GE that served me well. I have a fixed fridge enclosure at 35.75" and GE is the only quality brand that had models at this width. The capacity for this narrower model is great. They have modified the interiors somewhat to provide more freezer space (smaller ice-maker). I feel like I'm entering a show room every time I open the door with the "fade in" LED lighting. Shelves and drawers glide much better than previous models and the no fingerprint feature on the stainless is great. I did order an additional door shelf for the fridge because there was some unused space there and I have lots of condiments and smaller ingredients I like to keep in the door.

We like how spacious and bright it is. The extra deli drawer is nice. Not sure yet about the shelves on the door. The bottom one is really narrow and only holds small items. It seems like we lost shelf space from the older GE model. I wouldn't say it's loud but is louder than our old model. Three distinct sounds. A loud, high pitched buzz when some motor comes on that dies down to just a high pitched buzz. A low, consistent, moderate loud hum from another motor and a soft hum most of the time. The ice maker drawer and shelf above are a disaster! The shelf is off balance and falls into the drawer so you can't pull out the drawer. Same terrible design as our last model. The ice/water dispenser is way to small. Can barely fit a tall kitchen glass under it much less a water bottle. The doors are slightly off level and don't open/close smoothly. Plan to contact the manufacturer to see about getting the ice shelf and door features fixed. For the price we expected things to be better but overall it works fine.
