Bought this brand new for our rental unit. 16 months later, they report that their clothes are getting stained. I came over to look and there is significant rust along the top interior edge of the washer tub. How is this happening in less than 1.5 years? It is a stainless steel tub and only has a 1-year warranty. I don't think I can repair it so probably need a new one already. I feel like I got scammed!

I bought this new unit to replace the 30 year old GE Spacemaker. Some things have improved like the size load is larger, the entire unit is quieter, and it is more efficient in water use. I hope it lasts like the last unit did.

The washer does an outstanding job of cleaning clothes, the instructions are easy to understand. The spin makes it easier to dry using the dryer because it does not take long. Even though we haven't used it a lot, we love it.

Washer does not always turn on. Difficult to use. Non responsive at times; push the start button and nothing happens. Must be set to bulky items to avoid adding detergent directly to clothes. Will agitate before water is covering the clothes.

I ran the heaviest blanket I could find and the washer took it like a champ and stayed balanced in the process. Dryer is huge so blanket dried in one normal cycle. Plus, no bending over. Also, it has so many washing and drying options.

Bought in Oct 2021 and so far the washer belt failed and the lid lock. Tried to have warranty work done for the lid lock and GE said no one was available in our area to work on it because it was out of warranty. Not happy so far with this product

This was purchased as it was only product that would fit in space we have. There are few companys that make this type of machine. I find washer noisey and wonder how clothes are being cleaned as agitator doesnt seem to be working as strongly as previous machine. This will have to do, but doesnt compare with Maytag unit I had for 20 years.

I received this unit and it had a problem with the washer. I scheduled a service call and eventually had a service visit a few weeks later. At that time I was told that a part would be shipped to me and they would come install it. That was months ago. The part has never arrived and I have called about it many times.

PROS-Product fits our space nicely. Size of washer and dryer were a surprise as this replaced a standard set of side-by-side. Installation was easy and quick. Dryer is extremely quiet.
CONS- Washing machine is EXTREMELY loud. (Had to try soundproofing on the door- still very loud and can be heard throughout house). Washer start button is inconsistent and tempermental. No chime on Dryer as advertised at cycle end.
Manual on troubleshooting not very good, Favorite word in manual is 'that is normal'. Balderdash!

I am amazed at how quickly my clothing is dry! A full load is dry in a half hour! My old dryer took well over an hour to dry the same amount of clothes! I wish the washer wasn't as loud as it is but that is the only complaint on this new combo. Would definitely recommend this model to others.

Perfect size for tight spaces. Washer is a bit louder than expected but not a deal breaker. Dryer is very quiet and dries perfectly. Only drawback is there is no warning bells once your wash or dry cycle is done so you have to physically check to see that its done.

This is a great unit for smaller living situations. It cleans very well, as long as you don't fill it too much. The clothes are practically dry coming out of the washer, so dry time can be kept at a minimum to save on electricity.
Overall an excellent modern washer dryer without all the confusing/malfunctioning controls and problems that a lot of modern washers and dryers have these days.

We washed our clothes three times with no incidents. However, the 4th time, the washer tub broke, loud piercing noises and the smell of smoke. A GE techician came out yesterday and said the entire tub would have to be replaced. He said he will let us know in 48 hours if this new machine will be either repaired or replaced. Since it is brand new (less than a month old) we are hoping for a replacement.

Purchased this stacking washer/dryer because we had little choice. There are very few stores that sell stacking units in Hawaii. Bought it from Home Depot because it's a reputable, established store in Hawaii.
This was the only model that would fit in the small space in our condo. It is not very sturdy and has limited washing capabilities. The size of the washer tub and dryer is excellent for a single person or a
couple. Cleaning the lint filter at the end of the drying cycle requires a vacuum cleaner to do a good job! After your laundry is dried, open the dryer door slowly, so as not to get some flying lint in your face! Basic ends met with this model!

Went to Store where purchased and was told no washing machine fills anymore. Only 5" of water on other cycles. I had this exact laundry center and after 7 years it sounded like a 747. If they don't fill for every load it seems that with the noise it's not doing something right.. We needed a 24" combo wanted a vented Dryer and this was our only choice. The Dryer is great.
