Visually, it is a great looking appliance with clean lines and the counter depth model streamlines the kitchen. Regarding functionality - it meets all my family's needs for space. We love the deep door space that can hold up to a gallon size.

I like the internal fridge and freezer space. the doors make it easy to access both sides. the temperature is not controlled as it is off by 4 degrees. it has only two front feet. it is hard to keep levelled. The ice and water dispenser are great, they look and feel great, and they are functional. The freezer has two drawers which make storing food easier. The internal of the fridge has drawers and shelves that are accessible and hold lots of food

I bought the refrigerator online based on the features I was interested in. French doors and bottom freezer. So I didn't realize that I would have issues with standard functionality. Shortly after I received the refrigerator I noticed that it was missing the drip tray. I have contacted customer support and was promised that it would be delivered. When I didn't receive it, I contacted customer service again and received the same empty promise. I still have no drip tray.
In addition I find it difficult to close the doors. You need to shove it closed. It will not close with a simple push.

Guess we should have expected less room with counterdepth fridge. Shelves on door with ice maker are very shallow, just big enough for stick of butter. However, looks pretty & water/ice dispenser unit works great!

The GE 22.2-cu ft Counter-depth French Door Refrigerator with a door ice maker and water dispenser was worth the wait. We placed our order 4 weeks before delivery but are very happy with our purchase. The interior has great lighting, the shelving placement versatility is easy to adjust for our preference. The ice maker and water dispenser depth is great for larger containers and provides great lighting for use during times of low room lighting.

I am having my kitchen remodel - based on wanting this new refrigerator. Still in construction by the floors and electrical are complete so unpacked the refrigerator but still have the plastic on the outside or the drawers are still taped. Stopped cooling after 60 days - food ruined. Called GE - 1st service provider - confirmed appointment - never showed up or called. 2nd service provider - said compressor failed. part has still NOT come in. I have been without a refrigerator for 25 days. I am not getting any support from where I purchased it - since it was delivered on January 15th and not plugged in until March 29th I still have not had my GE range, Microwave/vent or dishwasher installed.

So far fridge has been doing it's job. Overall design is ok. Freezer draw is ok although not near as smooth of operarating as I expect. Big downside is the noise it makes when running. Doesn't seem like there is much sound insulation built into it.

This product was installed in our brand new, new construction home without the proper quality control or quality assurance measures. The refrigeration part of this refrigerator completely gave out within the month of moving in, leaking all over the floors and leaving the interior molded. Be warned if you choose GE appliances on your own accord. It has been weeks since we reached out to GE and they refuse to replace the defective item.

This refrigerator was a replacement under the warranty (after a lot of work and aggravation on my part and effort from the home builder). The old refrigerator leaned to the right and so does the new one (although not as much). The floor is level as determined by the builder and GE. The only explanation is that the refrigerator is not manufactured properly.

The fridge has a great overall look and is working well. The ice holder is too small to provide ice for more than a few drinks. The bottom dresser has drawers that are not flat on the bottom so it doesn't hold ice trays well. The ice situation is awkward. It also needs a tray to catch drips of water from the water dispenser.

This is probably the worst refrigerator ever. I got it when I closed my house and day 1 the compressor stopped working. Further it took 3 days for a GE service rep to show up only to tell me that compressor will come online after 9 days. So iff u want to feed ur family for 12 days out side then go a head and order it . I would strongly caution against buying this.

1st fridge arrived with misaligned doors and huge scratch. Got a replacement that last a few weeks before compressor packed up. Engineer was supposed to order the parts. Almost two weeks past and heard nothing. Service dept had no record of part being ordered, so had to order again. Just an awful experience with GE.

I like the refrigerator. It fit in the cabinet space really well. I was amazed at how much freezer space there is. My only complaint is that I wish the fruit and vegetable drawer were a little larger, but I love that they are separate with separate controls. The refrigerator has a nice finish and I appreciate the smudge resistance.

It's been a good replacement for the LG French door that died so far except the bypass for the filter was not included in the box. The water has flowed pretty slowly from the dispenser since it was installed on February 25, 2022. When we were finally frustrated enough to troubleshoot, we realized we couldn't since the bypass was not included. I was able to order it, for free, and tested it. The water flows faster with the bypass so that means the filter needs to be replaced. However, it's a new refrigerator installed on February 25. Isn't the filter supposed to last 6 months? This one barely lasted 2 months. I do also wish the ice and water were in one dispenser instead of having to push buttons to use water versus ice.
