So far so good. Have had it a week and it's everything we expected from GE. Beautiful Black slate finish looks like a million bucks. Happy with our purchase.

I saw this frig in a local hardware store, My wife and I really likes the color and decided to buy it, because it was on sale. What I don't like about it is the water location on the left hand side. Its very hard to access the water with holding the door open, Than holding your glass then pushing the button, I also don't like that the freezer door is heave when full, it just not working for me because I think the door handle will break, and with that I should had looked at other frig. I like the the color and maker.

This refrigerator is sharp looking inside and out. Keeps temperature as indicated for both refrigerator and freezer sections. Only had it a few days. Hopefully works a long time.

It took 3 months to get it but we're very satisfied with it. The only issues are the water dispenser being awkward for one handed use and the water temperature isn't good enough. The tap water is colder than the dispenser.

I have been very please with my new GE French Door refrigerator! It is very roomy and visual. I can quickly find what I want and need at first glance! I love having the freezer as a bottom drawer, there to easy access when needed! I'm loving it!!!

It's only been a week, but I love, love this refrigerator! Lots of storage in the doors for quick access to frequently used items. Plenty of room on the shelves for everything else. I was concerned about the interior space, but am pleasanly surprised. The veggie and fruit drawers are a wee bit smaller, but now I can take advantage of the extra space and have fresh veggie snacks ready to grab & go. Only drawback so far, is that it didn't come with an egg container... just held on to my old one.

It worked fine for about 3 years, then it died. The quality is not the best. A tech said that the compressor is leaking and VERY expensive to replace.

We live our new fridge! Some travelling guests recommended it and we're glad we waited to get this model. We were nervous about miving from the deeper fridge to this shallower depth, but it is super spacious and bright. The design makes much better use of space with how shelves and door storage are laid out. The 2 things id caution on (1) the water dispenser is very slow. Im usually not wanting to wait 2 minutes to fill a glass. We use britta now inside. (2) We paid for in home install but the 3rd party delivery company GE hired only did threshhold delivery. No one ever called us to resolve this.

This is our third purchase of this model. Although some want the water dispenser on the door, we like the clean lol outside and the fact that having it inside along the wall allowed GE to give more useful space.

Spacious, good looking. Only one thing about color! I have all my appliances "profile series" black color, unfortunately this fridge not dark black it is black slate ( dark grey) does not match all other appliances in this series. This is something to consider. Hopefully I get used to this color. It is beautiful but different.

I love almost everything about this refrigerator! We needed cabinet depth and this one had the most interior space. The refrigerator space is unbelievable. The gallon and deep shelves save so much space for casserole dishes, a whole turkey, etc. It's much easier to organize than our old side-by-side. My only regret is the freezer size. It's smaller than I'm used to. Otherwise I would have given this a 5+ rating.

We love the color of this fridge the black slate is so sleek looking and doesn't show every finger print. The fridge seems pretty spacious. The only drawbacks which this is probably a problem with any new appliance is the protective plastic wrap is applied before seals and such are attached to the fridge which makes them very difficult almost impossible to remove. After weeks we are still trying to remove all the little protective plastic from edges.

When the refrigerator was delivered from Lowe's, I was told it would take 6-8 hours to cool down. It never did and remained at room temperature. This was on Tuesday 8/17. A service call was made and completed on 8/20. The tech stated the refrigerator had no freon in the system, recharged it and it seemed to operate. The lowest temp the freezer got to was 18 and the referigator was 38. By the time we went to bed, the freezer was up to 27, refrigerator holding at 38. By morning both temps were in the 60's. The refrigerator was returned (and money refunded) to Lowe's the next day.

We were in the market for a counter depth refrigerator/freezer and decided on this model.
We have an older GE Profile range that we really like and wanted to keep, we are going to be remodeling our kitchen, and decided to stay with the brand. Overall we are pleased. It seemed to be a little noisy after it was first installed. Through some research, we made sure it was perfectly level and it seemed to take care of that issue. It also seemed to run more than our last refrigerator. It is just two of us in the house so we tried filling the refrigerator as much as we possibly could. That definitely seemed to help with that issue. The refrigerator as more than enough room for two, so I'm sure it will be fine for a larger family.
Overall we are happy with this model and hope it lasts as long as our previous non-GE refrigerator.

We love the black slate finish on this model. We also like the visibilty that is provided by not having ice maker/water dispenser in the door. I can open the double doors and see everything!
The shelves do seem a little flimsy but so far have held up. (we have only used this for a month) Shelves are easy to configure though, I just wish they were a little thicker.

We replaced a 19 year-old GE refrigerator with this new one, and couldn't be happier. The old refrigerator was still going strong, but we needed a new dishwasher, and I wanted the refrigerator to match. My favorite features are the bottom freezer, the adjustable refrigerator shelves, and the awesome lining. Highly recommend!

We just received delivery today after a long delay but it was well worth the wait. It fits into my new kitchen decor so well and really makes a statement. I was quite leary of a counter depth size frig as well as a side by side, this is my first, but love the flexibility of the refrigerator shelves and the freezer compartment. It utilizes every inch. LOVE IT!

First, it's beautiful. The exterior color and the interior "showcase" lighting - awesome. I see a lot of people complaining about the freezer being hard to open - I feel it's not that crazy. It's sealed, like it should be. It does not require brute force to open, it's pretty easy...Also the interior water dispenser is easy to do one-handed. I thought I'd hate it being on the interior but it's not too bad and keeps the seamless look on the outside and limits spillage/dripping. So far so good! (Just wish they wouldn't put so much friggin tape and styrofoam etc. all over this thing - it was a PITA to get off!)

Terrific counter-depth replacement refrigerator; only negative about the whole process (purchase, delivery, setup, operation) was that the sealing/protective film was nearly impossible to remove entirely. Really happy with this appliance.

I wanted a regular bottom freezer, but it was not offered in black slate. I had to purchase this French door and increase the size to 36" to exclude the door dispenser that would have limited the interior storage. The freezer exterior door has been replaced five times, and door #6 was just delivered. Every replacement has dents, markings, or metal sticking out. The refrigerator storage is good for counter depth. As others have mentioned, the water dispenser is difficult to dispense. The freezer is poorly designed for storage, and the entire refrigerator pulls out when opening the freezer. For the money, not the greatest.

I love the spacious, completely visible and useful interior. I like the door storage...not only is it spacious but a very user friendly design. The deli/meat drawer is flexible and cool. I fits EXACTLY in my space with a fingernail width on each side. The four star is because I am still getting to know it (I had a side by side for 20 years) and because the water spout seems not to be useable with one hand. Otherwise it is great!

So my wife and I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen remodel. All GE black slate. We really liked the fridge when we received it. I did notice it cooled strange though. Sometimes bottles of water were barely cold and then sometimes they were cold. We received all of our appliances on 12-2-20 except for our dishwasher. Which we are still waiting on the dishwasher. The fridge is literally two months old and today, it doesn't cool anymore. The condenser and the fan will run but it doesn't cool at all. Fridge was at 51 degrees, freezer at 34. All the stuff in our freezer had thawed but luckily we moved it all to our deep freezer in our basement. A two month old, $2900 fridge lasted two months. Now I have to wait four days for someone to come out and look at it and then who knows how long for parts. Very disappointed with this purchase. $3000 dollars, which was half of all our appliances sitting in my remodeled kitchen, dead! So now I have a $3000 fridge that's two months old that will probably have issues the rest of its life. Also had dents in the fridge when we received it as well. I'm definitely not happy and I wouldn't recommend this fridge to anyone.

Slight problem with freezer drawer fit, but appliance company fixed it.

Love the counter-depth feature, allows more room in the kitchen. Very spacious even with the counter-depth feature. Water in the fridge is a nice option as we didn't want to go with water/ice in the door as these are the first things to fail. Very attractive and love the black slate--more resistant to finger prints.

This is the most spacious refrigerator I've ever had. GE made good use of every single available inch. The flexibility of movable shelves/dividers and spaces makes it very adaptive to whatever space you need. The ice maker being inside the bottom freezer does take up space, but it's minimal. It makes ice quickly and quietly. Water dispenser inside the refrigerator wall takes a little getting used to, but no problem. I love the finger print resistant exterior. Great, LARGE refrigerator!

Nice and sleek for a counter depth refrigerator. Only disappointment, it looks more charcoal grey than black. I have light grey cabinets and white countertops in my kitchen.
Matte finish is nice, but doesn't match well with other appliances that have more of a black sheen.
