I couldn't be happier with my Speed Queen FF7009WN. Yes, it's on the higher end price wise, but just like an American muscle cars, you're not just paying for looks you're paying for American engineering, power, and performance. This front loader has a large capacity, washes lightning fast, and gives you a ton of options with its intuitive selection pad. After 2 "mainstream" washers we divided to just spend the money for the speed queen. Should have did it before spending the same amount on the two previous washers that combined lasted 7 years. In the long run speed queen is the right choice.

My last washer shook my floors when in spin cycle. This washer is solid and I never notice when it is in full spin. It has simple controls and is hassle free to operate! I wish I had discovered Speed Queen years ago!

The washing machines are truly built in industrial fashion. The unfortunate rating is due to problems experienced with the delivery where the machine had transit damage, which is not Speed Queen's fault, but when the local vendor tried to contact Speed Queen customer service to resolve...they were purposefully not helpful.
We had two service technicians come out on two different dates where the service technicians contradicted each other.
As a customer, who am I supposed to believe?
I manually took out the transit damage dent, after getting no relief from either technician or the vendor who I purchased from and am simply using the washing machine as-is.
Good thing I have a 5 year warranty should any complications arise from the transit damage.

Didn't want a computer controlled washer that told me how it was going to wash. I have the ability to command it and it does a great job with less water and quieter. I expect it to last 20 years like my old one.

I bought this mainly because it was in stock at my appliance store.This is clearly the best made washer machine on the market. Unlike other machines I have had, this is quite and only a little bit of vibration when starting the spin cycle. Seems to clean cloths.as good as other top rated machines. 4 stars because no light in drum and the soap tray is cheap and doesn't come close to being as functal as competitors machines that are half the cost.

I am absolutely delighted with the machine
The flimsy plastic dispenser cup does not shut completely & leaks all over the front of the machine. I will address this with where I bought the machine as it is still under warranty but is not going to be resolved I'm afraid
The second thing is when you pause the machine to add an article of forgotten clothing it proceeds to drain water .. a lot.. even though it would not come out if ytge door were to unlock as is
I appreciate the extra rinse options and have read the fog heir/flea cycle is only to be used on rare occasions . We don't have fleas in the house but it seems to do a good job removing the dog hair . I don't know if there is a filter that can be cleaned out , I wish that was somewhere easy to find

After 25 years of fixing our old washing machine, our appliance repair person told us to buy a new machine. Having experience going to laundromats and using industrial equipment I knew what I wanted, the Speed Queen. My husband suggested otherwise but I insisted I deserve the best. I've had the Speed Queen front loader for three months and I love it!! It's dependable, efficient and cleans well. When my 25 year old dryer goes out, I'll buy the matching Speed Queen dryer.

This is a great washing machine. This is my second set of Speed Queen Washer and Dryers. I had the last set 10 years and could not wear them out. Gave them to my son. They should be good for another 10.

I've only had it for a couple of months, but so far, so good. The cycle times are what I'm most impressed with. If it says 57 minutes, it's pretty close to that time. Our old LG would take almost 2 hours for a load of towels because it wasn't able to balance itself for the soun cycle. The Speed Queen does the same load in about an hour.
I was worried about the capacity of the drum, but it fits just as much as our LG. Even though it's listed as almost 1.5 cu/ft less in capacity.
I'm hoping this machine continues to work as well as it has the first couple of months.

Everything about this machine is wonderful except when it rinses the soap from the dish. Some soap runs down the face of the machine. The problem is not using too much soap, because I've tried it using very little and it still ran out. Today I added quite a bit of water to the soap, so that the cup was nearly empty and that solved the problem. Yes, the door is completely closed. Is there another solution?

I really like the machine but it has problems. It cleans well. But, the door and the detergent tray leaked. They had to come out 2 times to get it fixed. Also, the detergent tray is full of water when the cycle has finished and the repairman can't figure out how to fix it. That is a problem in Florida where mold is a concern.

The machine leaks. After wasting a week's vacation waiting on service men, to have the company finally say there is nothing wrong with their machine you are only supposed to use a teaspoon of detergent or dilute your detergent with water. Please keep in mind this was directly from a Speed Queen engineer. I am sorry, but when I buy the "Cadillac" of washing machines I don't think I should have to be mixing my detergent or have it leak on my floor.

They may be expensive, but so far totally worth the cost! I cant believe how dirty my clothes were after washing in my old machine. The speed queen washes in a quater of the time and everything is CLEAN. My partner is a well digger and I work in a weld shop in Florida, so our clothes get very dirty and sweaty. They always felt yucky after washing and had a underlying stink that i couldnt get out. Tried borax, oxiclean, laundry sanitizer and bleach. Nothing worked. I use Woolite because I dont like strong smelling products. With my awesome Speed Queen, even on quick cycle, our work clothes come out squeaky clean and sweet smelling! Ive also noticed a lot less lint in the dryer.
The controls are easy to see and a breeze to use.
I leave the washer door open when not in use so it doesnt get funky. I also wipe the gasket every week.
If you are on the fence about purchasing this set or just washer, it's worth the money. I believe this set will last the rest of my lifetime, and probably be my son's inheritance, lol!

We've purchased our Speed Queen Front-Loader washer 30 days ago. We've run the unit under various loads, cycles and durations. It cleans excellent. The exterior metal construction, weight of the unit, sturdy workmanship. The heavy glass window on the door with a watertight seal is excellent. Speed Queen has focused on functional engineering over superfluous technology (I just want my washer to clean, not tell me the weather and connect to my Wi-Fi) While the quality and workmanship of Speed Quest is excellent, there's a serious disappointing issue. The detergent plastic drawer leaks water during the rinse cycles. I wonder if this is a common issue or if my unit has something defective?

Thought I was getting the best and it's the worst! We've only used it a dozen times so far and the mildew smell is horrible-even after spraying and washing the gasket inside and out with peroxide and alcohol, doing a sanitizing wash and tub cleans and leaving the door ajar. Both I and my husband have severe allergies to mildew and molds-which is why I bought Speeed Queen Sanitize/Pet Plus washer in the first place. I trusted my seller and Speed Queen reputation. Upon research (wondering why mildew smell ?!?) I find Speed Queen acknowledged this problem in 2022 and the problem persists! And still being sold! I think a class action suit can be actionable, because this is a health hazard for people with allergies, immunosuppressed, have asthma, children, elderly, pregnant, etc. UNACCEPTABLE!! Working to return it, but don't hold out much hope. Wanted to buy USA made, but this feels like a scam. Really, really disappointed. I want to shout it across the internet! Buyer beware! And wait until you see my review about my new Speed Queen dryer that was almost unusable for a month while repair waited for a replacement control board! What the heck!?!

The whites cycle actually makes things whiter! It is so smart it adds cycles if you used too much detergent (you'll learn a little goes a long way) Tailor the wash to the load and get perfect results.

After owning a GE Profile unit for 3 troublesome years I decided to switch to a commercial grade product that just works. The wash time is cut in half' compared to the GE and the cloths come out cleaner and dryer than before. This then cuts down of the time it takes dry the cloths. I will be purchasing a Speed Queen dryer next.

We are loving our front load Speed Queen washer. It does a wonderful job of cleaning. I love all the cycles to meet our cleaning needs. The only thing I would change is to be able to select cold water temperature on the perma press cycle. I have to switch to the delicate cycle.

It took 4 tries to install the pedestal correctly and stop squeaking throughout the house, and walking up to 10" in the laundry room. It still walks, but not as bad. The spin cycle is very loud. Would we buy this again? Probably not. This has not been a good installation experience. Purchases washer and pedestal Memorial weekend 2024. Machine installed 6/3/24. Pedestal installation attempted 6/17/24. And squeaked throughout house and walked in the laundry room after that. Contact Hahn Alliance in Tulsa OK for the service record. This was a bad experience.

WOW, i thought high quality washing machines went extinct years ago. Went with a competitor after my quality machine died years ago and was very disappointed with the short life span of the replacement. Did some checking and discovered SQ is like what the consumer products used to be. I really don't mind paying a little more for something if it's better and won't disappoint. The control panel screams HIGH QUALITY by the look and feel, and I like the power on self test (POST).
