#1 The knobs are so cheap & loose turn them 1/4 turn before it clicks to next setting
#2 can't wash with warm or hot water on ECO mode so what's the point of having a temperature dail on the machine if you can't choose the temperature
#3 the computer control board makes the same noises & beeps as the cheap GE washing machine I threw in the garbage to buy the speed squeen 🤦♂️
#4 I bought this machine so I could lift the lid & see what's happening inside but it shuts off every time I open the lid
#5 it makes unusual knocking noises in the wash cycle sounds like a bad bearing

I bought my current house in 2011, have gone thru 2 washers before this one....both failed right around the time the warranty ended. The old machines didn't really get the clothes clean, and the cycles were very long. This Speed Queen is fast, efficient , and with an agitator it actually CLEANS the clothes....love it!

My old HE top loader machine would leave my clothes dirty, white streaks, not enough water. This machine fills with water and agitates, my clothes are so clean, no more double washing.

I love my speed Queen Washer. Do not have to baby sit and make sure it has enough water in it. I was having to fill buckets of water and put in my GE profile. Biden messed up with all this water savor crap!

Best one I've had. Had a new Maytag for 8 years and I hated it from day one. I had to call repairman the first time I used it. Called it many names through the years. I had had two other sets of maytags that were good!

Both, the washer and dryer are awesome! Washer has an agitator, yay, and so far no issues with getting off balance on the spin cycle. Dryer dries in one cycle. These are much better than the 4 year old Maytags I just got rid of!

We love our speed, queen, washing machine! We love the sturdy drum inside that doesn't move around while washing the clothes. We like the size that it was not too big and had a choice of the color, white or black, we chose white. The dials are easy to read, and it comes with many features, especially that it is made in America.

After 3 years of owning this it's rusty and broken the parts are expensive. We trashed it and went with a different brand. Very say biggest waste of money ever! 20 years is based on doing 4 loads a week not a day. If you have a big family don't bother.

I've purchased quite a few of these machines as I owned a coin operated laundry for 42 years. I worked on my own machines. It was so nice when I needed help to be able to call Alliance and speak to an American, English speaking engineer. These machines aren't disposable machines and can be easily repaired.

I hate this appliance more than any appliance I've ever bought. I have leveled it out more than a dozen times and it still works its way across my laundry room. None of the other washing machines I've owned have done this. I have tried putting a rubber mat under it, rubber feet ... and yet I cringe every time this thing starts spinning. Customer service is horrible and I can't get a straight answer out of them. I've never hated an appliance more than I hate this Speed Queen. Don't buy one!

You are able to wash any way you need to with an excellent wash time and enough water to cover the clothes being washed. Wash times are 30 minutes quicker than our previous 3 year old washer with better results

I have had my machine for several months. It does a good job cleaning and the clothes don't get wrapped around the machine. It also doesn't get unbalanced. I like the 30 minute cycle and that it's an old school machine. Although it is quite loud when agitating but behind a door you don't hear it as much.

The Speed Queen washer seems very solid. I like that it has a cycle less than an hour. I can reach the bottom of the tub, too. It does dance a lot so we will have that taken care of.

This is a fantastic washing machine, capable of washing a variety of clothes regardless of their soil levels. I think the functions such as "Deep Fill" are really great for heavier loads. I love the efficiency of each load being washed and the clothes have never come out cleaner!

While we haven't owned this fine machine for very long, the physical quality of the machine is evident. GONE note are the wash loads that barely squish clothes around and leave soap and soil stains. This machine WASHES clothes as one would hope. It's relatively quiet, given the fact it is working to clean our clothes much better than any washer we've owned over the last 30 years.
Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Our lone complaint; the cycle doesn't seem to rinse bleach from the compartment very well. We're going to try some different brands/mixes to see if that helps.

I waited so long to buy a speed queen washer. We bought one finally. Used it one time and wasn't impressed. The washer tuner is too small. Machine is loud and didn't really clean my clothes well. I had a stain on a shirt, pretreated stain, washed and dried. Stain still there. Washed same shirt in old washer, didn't pretreat and stain came out. Returned and got a Maytag.

I've had the machine for about two months. I can only compare it with my previous machine which was 35 year old. It is big enough to easily load a queen comforter, which my old one could not. I can push a button and get the water level clear to the top, without any computer overrides, which I understand is hard to do on a lot of new machines. The other level option is about 8 inches of water. Wish this was a little higher. The lid, like the old machine, does not lock. Just lift it up to put in another item or check the water level, then shut the lid and it starts up again. The agitator is more aggressive than my old machine. I get around this by using the bulk cycle or delicate setting. Quick 35 minute cycle which I like. I like having a "cool" temperature setting as well as cold, warm and hot. I like having knobs to select settings. Actually easier than the controls on the old machine. It has a soak setting that is coupled with a second rinse. Wish I could select just the soak without the second rinse. Noise is not bad-about the same as my old machine, which doesn't bother me for 35 minutes. I'm happy with the machine and warranty. Perfectly fit in the closet where the old machine was. And made in Wisconsin. Yeah!

I had to have the drum and agitator replaced and hope it fixes the problem. The holes drilled in the drum were rough and completely ruined a lot of my winter fuzzy clothes. The first time I called for help, I was told it was my fault for not using the proper cycle for washing. No. It was a defective machine. Speed Queen needs to up quality control if they want people to think their machines are top of the line. I am still waitin for Speed Queen to reimburse me for destroyed clothes. We will see.

Hi - I had extensive problems getting my $133 rebate for my April 2024 washer/dryer purchase. I wrote to the rebate company many times, and they kept saying it wasn't ready yet. Finally 3 months after purchase,(July) they said it was ready. Somehow I couldn't access it online. Finally, about 2 months later (Sept) they sent an actual card. I tried and tried to use the card for an online purchase. It would not work. I set the card aside and the holidays came. I tried to use it last month, and it had expired. I wrote to the company, and they told me I had had the card since April. Not true at all! Honestly, is the rebate a scam? I am so disapointed and sad. I hate to waste money. As a senior on a fixed income, I don't have much to waste.
