I've had it for a month now - it does a great job washing the clothes. It is much quieter than the prior washer I had and is VERY easy to use.
One thing I would change is to allow me to rinse out the detergent cup with the lid open at the beginning of the cycle. The machine stops spraying water when the lid is open unless you bypass the safety switch (awkward). This is pretty much the only problem I have with this washer.

3 months old and the washer already won't spin fast enough to wring water out. Calling technical support was an absolute waste of time. No help at all. Was told to just pay someone to fix it. So disappointing for a washer that cost twice as much as the competitor's.

As a Power Plant we go through a lot of rags. Washing these rags which typically have diesel, oil, or grease has been a hassle with every brand of washer we have tried. The Speed Queen is the exception. It handles them with zero problems!

My wife and I love this washer. No frills dials and no electric boards to go haywire. Is solid in build, runs quiet,clothes never cleaner, and a 24 minute wash cycle with a good spin dry. We are very happy with this after running into problems with others after a few years.

a sturdy machine but with some issues i've noticed so far got a pipe bang that i never had before the start stop button can be a pain doesnt like to cancel will show lights blinking sometimes red some blue when its off meaning it"s always powered not sure about the autofill yet am still wondering about it being down in a unfinished unheated basement because it got some kind of computer

Machine is quiet. Hardly know when it is in spin cycle. It wrings out my closes without wading them up around the agitator or plastering the clothes to the side of the tub. It reminds me of the quality Whirlpool/Kenmore washing machines of 50 years ago. The controls are simple to use. Its just a good washing machine.

This is a good washing machine, very quiet as expected. When I bought this appliance I hope it's simple to use. However I've run into the issue where after opening the lid and restarting the run, it won't restart and keep on beeping error. It starts again after fiddling around. Not sure what is going on.

I LOVE my Speed Queen washer! It handles large loads wonderfully well. Gets the job done quickly and efficiently. I can easily reach the bottom of the tub and no longer need a step stool. A few years ago, I purchased one for donation to a local animal shelter. Heard rave reviews. Once I began volunteering there and was able to actually USE the machine, I was absolutely set on getting one for home and finally did. What I miss on this model are: 1) Option for 2nd rinse, 2) Ability to set specific wash times. Regardless of this, I would, and do, highly recommend this machine to family and friends. You won't regret it. And just to be clear, this review was not incentivized.

To be honest, I wasn't sure about spending that much for a washing machine. After my last one broke down after 2 years and died after 5, I decided I didn't want to go through that again. It was a good decision.
The washer works like a champ.very quiet, and my clothes are actually cleaner. I like that the lid only latches during the spin cycle so you can effortlessly add additional items. I'm sorry I didn't buy this one the last time.

I love my new speed Queen washing machine! It seems to wash clothes more efficiently and faster than any other washing machine I've had before. It is very easy to use, simple knobs, very clean clothes! The only problem we have had so far is that the door lock mechanism fell apart. My local dealer had the part within a week and fixed it quickly. Everything totally under warranty and done well. I would highly recommend this machine! I'm hoping it will last many years.

Next to the "old Maytag" seems to work well. What I don't like about it is the lid locking; I like to make sure all the detergent is swished around before adding clothes. I don't like that sometimes the fabric softener gets on clothes. And I'd rather have control of when the wash starts, like I did with my old Maytag; I like to soaks some clothes before the wash.

Washer and dryer are basic which is what I wanted but the dryer compares to any other dryer and has less setting for the money you pay. The washer does its job but using the eco mode that is suggested for normal wash does not get clothes as clean. You need to use heavy duty for even basic stains. If you are running what you feel is a large wash and cut that in half and that seems to be what the machine can handle and will clean well. Overall construction seems well but for what the machines do I feel they are overpriced.

One morning I felt a sudden shift in the earth as if it stopped spinning. Sure enough, my wife came in and said, "The washer broke." So my previous thought was correct. Broken washer/Earth stopped. I called my buddy, just get a Speed Queen Commercial - Residencial. You have one in stock? How many do you want. I only need one to make her happy. When do you want to pick it up? Send me a purchase order. So now? Yes! Long story short. Got it hooked up and leveled. My world is spinning again. She loves it. Apparently, it's a good tool. Highly recommended! Not a lot of bells and whistles, but apparently a workhorse. It's not that I wouldn't, but she says don't even think about touching the laundry. I guess her Lululemon don't go with my Carhartt stuff?

Had nothing but trouble out of my washer. It's been a complete nightmare. It's been worked on around 10 times since purchased in a year. We have the digital set. Biggest mistake we made. If I had to do over I would have bought the plain Jane set. I can't remember the exact numbers on them. It breaks my heart i paid this much for them and they act up every other week. Sound Furiture where I purchased from comes right out to fix them if all possible. All my life I heard nothing but good thing about "speed queen" I grow up and get to purchase one and this happens -- never again. I'll stick with Lowe's shopping lol

Washer works fine but has a glitch where the lid lock light blinks every 4-5 minutes. Unplugging the machine and plugging it back in fixes the issue until it's operated again. This is a brand new machine. Local dealer is working to order parts for repair. This is disappointing for a machine of a premium price and supposed high quality and reliability.
