The stove looks great. I love the grates they not only look good but are easy to clean. So is the stove base easy to clean. I wish the high heat burners were in the front. I have to reach over a simmering pot to stir the one on high heat or turn over a meat etc. a real inconvenience.

We bought a house recently with this whirlpool gas 4 burner stovetop and the grates are way too high. It takes forever to cook anything. Looking at reviews, this is a very common complaint, yet Whirlpool has done nothing to address the issue. Looks like we will have to spend another thousand bucks to replace this useless stovetop. Whirlpool really should fix this problem and offer the fix to current owners. What a bummer they don't appear interested in doing so.

Installed and working perfect for over 3mos now - first cleaning on the burner heads though and appears not as quality as thought. Did the standard soak in hot soapy water/vinegar to remove the burnt on stains......upon 20 min of soak, when wiping away the burn on stains, the "chrome" wipes away in certain areas. Now all burner heads have a mix of chrome and dull metal - which is extremely unattractive for a $1000+ unit. Appears that new burner heads run $60+ for each head, and its not that they're bad(in fact work perfect) the cosmetics simply didnt hold up. Wish Whirlpool had some sort of exchange program for things like this...perhaps they will reach back out to us, they've always been good company, and >75% of our home appliances are Whirlpool.

My family was so happy that we got new gas stove and when we tried for first time to boil the water it took us 45 minutes and after a week we cooked the food and it took us a long time . we stayed infront of stove for atleast 2 hours to prepare Lunch this is not good and got disppointed by seeing the gas bill .The Grate is too high and takes too long to heat pots/pans please provide us an alternate grate that will fix the issue. There is no pointout light when the gas is on near the nob
Whirlpool should offer an alternate grate for those of us that have bought this unit and cannot adequately cook our food in a normal amount of time.

I bought a relatively new house and within a week i realised this burner takes forever to heat the pan , the grates is very high from the burner. Also the design is very poor as could not use all four burners together with big pots , not righty placed.

I purchased my cooktop 2 months ago and find it to be well built and extremely easy to use. I love the grill because I can now slide my heavy pots over without the worry tilting them over. The ease of cleaning it is a time saver. After all the research I did and going to stores to get a glimpse of the appliance I found this cooktop to be one of the best.

Since brand new our cook top do not transfer heat in a proper way, during the warranty period we called the whirlpool service and the conclusion was that everything was ok! The problem is simple, "The burner is far way of the pan and to boil water take "forever" another issue is the lost of heat the outside of the pan/handle become extremely hot. After 2 years whirlpool have not developed a way to solve our problem. We will replanejar for anotei brand.

I really don't understand all the great reviews about this cooktop. My builder installed this model and I have been using for almost a year. The configuration makes no sense with both large burners in the back. Very inconvenient for frying. Due to the way the knobs are set up, the front two grates have very little room. Only a small pot will fit. It's next to impossible to cook four items at one time unless all pots are small. The burners themselves do have some power but that really does nothing for you if you can't cook on it. The knobs are made out of plastic. Maybe this would work for a single person that never entertains, but there is just not enough cooking space on this thing for cooking for a family. Please note that I cook for just myself most of the time but it still doesn't work for me. It has to go

But the metal frame on cooktop is too high that flame is far from pan bottom and some heat is going waste. Frame height should be less.

I bought this product 3 years ago. It has stopped working properly 6 months ago. I am looking to replace this cooktop. In order for me to turn on the burners, I have to push the farthest left burner down to light the other burners. The back right burner doesn't work properly and the grates shift when I put a big pot down. Stay away.

This range top is a perfect replacement! I read reviews about the grate being too far away from the burner, but I have not had a problem yet. Water boils much faster for spaghetti now! I did adjust the burner flame. It did take some adjustments compared to my old range top. I used to heat up soup on my old range top on medium and I could leave it for 20-30 minutes. Now though, soup will heat up in 5-10 minutes. So now I don't take a break when something is on the burner. Instead, I prepare other parts of my meal, and by the time I'm done with that, my soup is done!

This Cooktop was part of my builder's upgrade package and I'm so glad we opted for it. It does a fantastic job, especially enjoy the SpeedHeat burner as it boils water very quickly.

I've had it over a month and I love the heavy grates. You can slide a pot to a different burner without lifting it. The only drawback I see with it is when you remove the grates it's hard to line them back up with the little bumps they made. They should have indented the stove top to align the grates.
