Love my new gas range. It did set off my smoke alarms when burning off the new smell, but now I love it. Easy to wipe off. Convection oven is great. Cooked Thanksgiving meal at the same time.

Good oven but HATE the AquaLift Self-Clean

I've had not trouble with this oven, I love all the different sized burners and the baking ability of the oven, but the AquaLift Self-Clean is not great. It does break up some, but not all, of the build-up in the bottom of the oven and does NOTHING to remove grease from the sides and back of the interior. When I inquired about this, Whirlpool stated they recommend an Affresh product to clean the inside, that it appears Affresh no longer makes. The only other suggestion I was given was to use mild soap and water, which again, was not enough to remove the grease. I was not given any other options, so I guess I'll live with the grease marks on the inside until I'm due for a new oven. I hope to then purchase one without the AquaLift Self-Clean Technology and with a better self-clean mode or one that I can use an actual oven cleaner in.

We have been using this range for 6 months and have been very impressed with the features. One negative is the bottle m drawer is very small and does not hold hardly any accessories or pans.

After looking at all the gas ranges and comparing features,details and quality decided on the Whirlpool 5.8 Ft. freestanding gas range and just love it. Have been using it now for a couple months and it has so many well though out features. The way the grates open for easy clean to the extra large door is just perfect. It's large inside with plenty of room for multiple dishes. You won't be disappointed. Lowes did a great job on the install as well and
did exactly what they said.

Very happy with changing to gas, but the surface knobs get extremely hot when the oven is on as does the door. They get so hot I have to have protective towel or something before touching them.

I bought this exactly 1 month ago and received 3 weeks ago. Had only used for 1 weekend and realized the 2 front burners where taking a long time to actually turn on. Started to smell gas each time. Called Lowes and since I didn't buy an extend warranty from them and they didn't have another in stock to swap out they had me call Whirlpool for service. For service you have to block out an entire day between 8a-4p and you don't find out until the night before what time frame the tech will arrive. This seems like a VERY antiquated way setting up for service. Tech was fine. His diagnosis was the way the gas lines are coiled to the front burners it takes the gas longer to reach the 2 front burners. Seems highly unlikely since I replaced a previous gas stove with this and never had this issue. A a funny thing happened, he replaced the burner disks (don't know proper word for these) and now all of a sudden those 2 burners come on just as quick as the back. So I do appreciate that he switch those out I just wish tech's didn't take to customers like they are just dumb as rocks and if they don't know the answer just say that! Also they oven gives off a lot of heat which I'm not used to from my previous oven.

I had several issues with my stove. It had to be replaced after the oven finished chipped during the aqua clean. The burners can be different to light which is something I would expect with time but not on a brand new stove. i try not to use the oven because I am scared that it will get dirty and I will need to use the aqua lean again.

We have has this about a month and we love it. The cooking greats run from end to end and we can slide pots from burner to burner or from burner to cool area. The oven is cavernous and has three levels when needed.

Love how the range looks and the grates making it easy to clean. Biggest complaint is the dials get HOT if oven is used esp at higher temps. Called whirlpool who sent out a technician and was told that is the way it is! Seriously they can't come up with dials that don't scorch you? You have to use pot holders ! I'm lodging a complaint with whirlpool over this-

My mom and I both enjoy cooking and baking. Our old range finally quit after 25 years so we got this one!
Everything we have used on it so far has worked great! We love the middle burner for griddle cooking and really big pots.
The delay start is great for when we want to bake something but won't be home in time to put it in the oven and bake it. It is nice to come home and it be done. This is great on Sundays when we come home from church.
The oven has been used to bake a lot of things in the short time we have had this range and it is so nice to have an oven that keeps the right temperature.
The top is so easy to clean especially with how the grates lift up and stay in place.
We have not tried the steam clean in the oven yet. Hopefully, this works well too.
We have had this new range since March 21, 2019 and we have been extremely pleased so far.

Original stove that came with the home finally gave out. After researching various brands and models, decided to go with this one. Love the whole cooktop surface grates and having a 3rd baking rack in the stove. Definitely puts out a lot more cooking heat than a base model stove, excellent for getting pots and pans up to temp quickly.

This gas range has many great features. I love the three shelves. It makes cooking & baking easier. I love the convection feature. My baked goods comes out without burning anything. When you are standing next to the range, you do not hear that the convection fan is even on.

I love the fact that i switched from electric to gas, everything cooks faster and more evenly. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is do to the side panel at the bottom was dented in really bad after removing it from the cardboard box.

Terrible experience with this stove! I will not recommend it! Paid too much for the parts to start falling off called to have them replace it 1 month later it's still on back order. I cook everyday the grates just started cracking and now it's scary to cook on them! Do not buy this!

I love this range! First of all it is so easy to clean, as the two side grills lift up and it has 5 burners. I like that there are 2 large ones for big pots which make them heat faster. The thing I like about the oven the most is the even cooking. I like the bottom draw for cookie sheets and large racks that I do not use often. I had my kitchen done and had a old fashioned wall oven so I had to really get used to all of this modern technology. It is easy to use and I am totally satisfied with it.

Had a LG with a recurring problem. Once the warranty expired LG said they were no longer obligated to fix it . . So we got this stove, so far so good but it's only been 3 months. One nice feature is that the grates are hinged for easy cleaning, just flip them
up out of the way.
