I was so frustrated with this machine for 2 days. Every time you open the top it restarts the cycle. It takes super long to get through the entire cycle. It's a good thing I'm moving I don't have to take it with me

I bought this a week ago. I love it. The tub has so much room. And the dials are easy to use. No complicated digital controls. It washes the clothes nicely and spins them out thoroughly. The drying time is so much less than with my other washer.

I replaced my older model Maytag with this Whirlpool after talking with friends and the friendly folks at the Home Depot. I'm very glad I did. I compared some shirts and socks from both machines. The Whirlpool (pardon the pun) Knocked our socks off. Brighter, cleaner and look like new.

My washer was installed a month ago after five years of driving to a laundromat 45 miles away. The washer cleans great and I've used it for jeans, sheets, blankets and delicates. I like the water sensor and the capability for deep water washes. The reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the lack of a softener dispenser.

I have purchased whirlpool washer and dryers for the last 40 years. Disappointed that my new washer does not have a dispenser for fabric softener. I try to put it in pause to put in fabric softener but it wouldn't unlock the lid. I guess I will get used to the new auto sensing and that it is saving on water. Wish my old one was still working

My 25-year old almost manual washing machine finally stopped working and I purchased a whirlpool without the center aggregator-what a great decision that was! The top loader allows me to pause the cycle to add any last-minute finds to the load. Very happy with my new washer! Fry's electronics delivered it the next day and took away my old one.

My last Whirlpool lasted 13 years. I am getting older and prefer the top load feature. I do like the soaking features. What I miss is the ability to as softener in a slot at the beginning of the cycle. It would be nice if there was a signal when the rinse cycle started so you could ad the softener then.

We purchased the washer about a month ago and was intrigued by the cycle selections. We were also intrigued by the diff. sounds it makes, some being loud. My wife has been complaining about how long it takes to do a normal load of laundry. It took over an hour for the machine to do a small-medium sized load. And no matter when we put the softener in, you can never tell you added any after the clothes are dry. This might be an issue w/ our GE dryer, but you should have the scent of the softener still in the clothes???? I printed a copy of the manual and will be going over every word of it to determine what the problem is.

Pros: without a center agitator, it is possible to wash bulkier items. Cons: without a center agitator, clothes are not washed as well. Also, this washer takes twice as long complete a load versus the older version I had.
