I™™ve had this dryer for about a year and now it shuts off within the first few minutes indicating the water tank is full. The water tank is not full and a drain kit is installed. I™™ve followed all of the maintenance steps in the manual and nothing seems to work. 10 out of 10 do not recommend

I would not recommend purchasing this dryer. I purchased the washer/dryer set from Home Depot on 9/1/2020. The dryer is very loud the last 5 minutes of the cycle. The video is posted online. It was so loud, I called the Electrolux repair person to come and check it out. He was here 15 minutes and said, ™that™™s normal™. It literally sounds like a buzzing/grinding/humming/shushing sound all wrapped into one. And it™™s loud!This, like the description says, is a ventless dryer. What you need to understand about it is that the hot air comes out the front of the dryer on the floor. You cannot close the laundry doors while using the dryer. It requires the cooler air to keep the machine from overheating or whatever. It™™s in the owner™™s manual as to the technical terms explaining why you cannot close the laundry room doors. So, it™™s not like you can even muffle the loud sounds of the machine with the door closed.The actual drying of clothing I™™m getting used to ™ as far as what settings you have to use to get the best and quickest dry. Sometimes my clothing comes out damp after being in there for an hour. The drying times are much longer than normal drying times. I have found some relative success with regular clothing with using the ™Casual™ cycle on high heat, maximum dryer. That takes just over an hour to complete. Towels will of course take longer ™ closer to 2 hours. Mind you, I can only wash 3 or 4 regular bath size towels at a time because the washer is so small. So that™™s 2 hours to dryer 4 towels.

We live in a condominium and our old GE washer gave out. We wanted a compact unit that could be stacked with all the features of a regular-sized washer. This fit the bill and we love it. So quite and its a powerhouse in its ability to clean - so many features that we did find in other compact units. Now I have room for a pantry!

We originally were just going to purchase a washer and had settled on the matching electrolux, which was well reviewed. At the last minute, we decided to get this matching stacking dryer, which only comes in a non-vented model when we could have used a vented model. It takes a very long time to dry, blows warm air into the room, and even at the end of the cycle, the clothes still feel a bit damp!

I bought this dryer in June 2020 from Home Depot, it only worked 3 times before losing the ability to heat. We have had warranty repair people out 4 times and replaced 2 major components in the last 30 days. Last repair was yesterday and it worked for 1 load and then got another error code. Do not buy, nothing but problems. This seems like a defective unit but I have not had any luck getting them to replace it.

I have had this dryer (and matching washer) for about 10 days now. I did LOTS of research and narrowed it down to this brand and another one. So far, most everything seems to be good. I have been using stackable sets for 16 years, so I'm used to the size and drawbacks related to that (ex. be careful not to overload for optimal performance). I love the choice of so many features that are available on both. Problem: the dryer gets SO hot! I have tried drying things on delicate where the only option available is low temp and drying things on normal and selecting low. SO hot - I burned my fingers (not like a real burn, but I couldn't touch them for several minutes) on little wooden buttons on a knit top. I am terrified that it's going to shrink my clothes! Unfortunately, since it is brand new, I don't think this is a problem with my particular machine but just the way the dryer heats. It is not too full - I put several things outside on the clothesline to make sure. Because of this heat, it seems to set wrinkles in. Really disappointed in the dryer - you should look into this issue going forward. Not sure yet if I would recommend the set - I'm going to keep trying to like it. I can't find anything in the manual to suggest a way to fix the problem.

I bought this for a condo due to the size and fitting in the space. After two loads the dryer door glass cracked. i bought an extended warrenty with Home deopt and they told me I had to contact Electrolux for repair, they refused me. After an intense conversation the only solution was they would send me the glass and I would have to install it. I own other Eletrolux appliances and this is very disappointing my experiance has always been positive to this point and while I paid more for a product I have always felt it was worth the cost, I wounder now? The dryer works well and gets clothes dry. This is a ventless dryer I bought on line due to the Covid closure, and no one could explain how it worked. I does blow hot air in the room when drying and is pretty quite in it's operation.

This dryer worked great for less than three years. And then it quit drying. Quote to replace the heating element and control board was over $1000. And over $700 in parts for a dryer that cost $800. I should have bought a Bosch or MIele.

I needed a dryer ASAP. I had delayed replacing my old machine when 'Old Faithful' dried no more, and I took to using the local laundromat. Using multiple machines to wash and the huge commercial dryers appeared to be a time-saver, weather was nice, fit nicely into my schedule.Then came winter, a fall on a patch of ice, and a fractured hip keeping me indoors while healing. Unable to shop for a new dryer myself, I relied on my son, the engineer, lol. He made a case for the Electrolux, while I favored purchasing an update of the former dryer - whose brand will remain anonymous. We had a few verbal skirmishes, and he won with a bit of trickery - he paid for it, then picked it up, and installed it.I'm delighted. The Electrolux works flawlessly, quietly, efficiently. My son has refrained from crowing and saying, 'I told you so.' It has more features than my old dryer, chief among them - it's ventless, which for many people means it can be put anywhere in one's home, condo or apartment.

This is hands down the most ridiculous dryer I™™ve ever tried to use. It takes 3 cycles to dry one load. We™™ve had 7 techs come look at it and the last one told me I should have read the fine print and it can take up to 8 hours to dry. The heat is so hot that on delicates it scorches them- we have had nearly everything shrink or get ruined- and, oddly enough they scorch but don™™t dry completely.

The first dryer arrived damaged the drum was dented so they had to delvy a new one which arrived late Oct 2018. The unit is in a summer beach condo and has been used approx a dozen times until the unit over heated and burnt the bearings in the motor. I am currently waiting for the motor replacement repair to take place that is suppose to take 2.5 hrs to fix. It was an expensive unit and the motor shouldn't have burnt out already! I'm very worried that this unit will continue to have issues. The customer service group for electolux/Frigidaire are miserable to deal with....I will never purchase another Frgidaire product.

It is not ventless. The hot air It exhausts does not go outside but instead INTO your house. How is that ventless? Additionally it takes a lot longer to dry items. What could be dried in 60 min now takes 90 min. Not ventless not efficient not worth buying

I bought the dryer a month ago for my tenant. About 2 weeks later they said the dryer was not heating anymore. After I called support they say I would need service. The service guy came and said I needed a new heat coil and ordered the part. When one is trying to dry a small load of clothes in this particular dryer model, the moisture/heat sensors will often not activate. To get them to do so, one must use the "Specialty Cycles" button and then select "Timed Dry" or "Fast Dry." We've looked back at the user manual, and though it hints at such possibilities, it certainly is not clear or explicit. And the first repair person obviously didn't have a clue.

Ever since my dryer arrived, I have had issues. To begin with, I was appalled to discover that the dryer door was PLASTC, not glass. And, in fact, it arrived with a crack in the door! So, for six weeks I have been trying to get the door replaced. I have just been advised that the piece is currently unavailable. Twice, now the wrong piece was shipped to me!!! I bought my appliances to remodel a rental unit. The new tenants are moving in tomorrow, thus they have not yet been used. So I have no further comments about the appliances. But Electrolux needs to greatly improve its customer service!

First machine drained into drain kit which is suppose to collect lint. Replacement machine drains into the properly place AND the drain kit. I have to carry the drain kit to a sink and it spills all over my wood floor. Certified Electrolux service company has come 6/7 times and no one can fix this major issue.

The compact Electrolux front load washer and dryer fit perfectly in my tiny laundry room. The IQ touch controls are easy to use and offer a large number of cycle settings for all types of fabrics and soil levels. After using the washer for the first time I realized how much my old machine was under-performing, the clothes looked visibly cleaner. Even though the dryer takes longer than a conventional dryer, it works gently and effectively and knows when the clothes are dry, so often the cycle ends earlier than the time originally displayed. I was also impressed with the load size of the washer and dryer. It was larger than I expected. I am very happy with my purchase.

At first I thought there was something wrong with this machine and had a service person out. Nope, if you set it for a normal dry, it sets the timer to 115 minutes (almost two hours) and heavy duty is almost 2 1/2 hrs!! And heat from the process pours out of the front of the dryer, heating up the whole room. And the clothes don't even feel dry. I've tried using the timed dry feature, but again it is lengthy to get the clothes damp dry.

It would stop after 5 minutes without getting hot. Called the customer service, they sent me someone. He told me I don't have 240V as required whereas the manual clears says that it should work with at least 208V (I have 210-215V). My electrician said that everything is fine. I called again (of course had to take another day off work to meet another mechanic) He had to adjust the legs as some sensors are located towards the front, by the door and not all around the machine and my machine needs to be tilted slightly towards the front so the clothing would hit these sensors and tell the machine that there is wet clothing. It's frustrating that the company does not reimburse for wasted time!

The sensor on this dryer is not well-designed. A normal load will dry well one time, and then the very next time it will decide that the clothes are dry after 15 minutes. So all of the fancy program settings are basically useless since you never know if the load will get dry. Best bet is timed dry which works fine (assuming you guess right how long the load needs). In short it will get your clothes dry eventually but all the bells and whistles are not worth paying for. And yes, I called the Electrolux repairman and he said there was nothing he could do, problem was with design.

Bought this dryer after careful research and talking to neighbors who own the same model. Greatly disappointed that the drum stopped turning after drying the FIRST load of laundry. The technician showed me the broken belt. The larger belt is fine but the smaller belt was shredded into strings and pieces. Can't believe the low quality parts being used! I wish I could return it to buy a different brand dryer. I am still waiting for the belt to be replaced as of this writing, a month after the purchase.

We bought this unit few weeks back and we are happy with our decision. We had doubts about the compact dryers but now are satisfied after testing the performance. Comforters etc. might need extra cycle but regular clothing drying is fine in one cycle. Also, its so quiet we can run it during nights and not worry about disturbing our sleep, considering the fact we live in a small condo.
